» The Super-Hero Guide to Famous Pastors
One of the things we Christians like is famous pastors. I’m talking about the pastors with big ministries, big books and every now and then, big teeth. But I think it’s getting harder to keep them straight. There are so many. That’s why, in the vein of the GI Joe Bible guide, I decided to do a superhero guide to famous pastors. I’m sure someone has called Rick Warren “Superman” before but I sincerely doubt anyone has compared Beth Moore to Wonder Woman. Let’s begin…

Reasons I use Ubuntu instead of Windows Vista...
While I am going to keep Windows Vista on my hard drive (for now, at least), my visits to that side of the motherboard will become fewer and far between because of Ubuntu. Here’s why…
- It’s free!
- It doesn’t crash, lull, or grind to a halt when I run Gmail!
- “Virus” is not a word in the Linux vocabulary
- Hardware just works. (it recognizes everything I plug in.)
- Open-Source Software (as in free and always getting better)
- Windows programs run on it. (like Excel, with an emulator)
- New Software (access to hundreds of GOOD software)
- It is Unix-based. (I heard this is a good thing!)
- Community (Ubuntu users got each other’s back!)
- It runs stable on my old 486 and lights up the room on my Core 2 Duo.
- Options and control. (My computer does what I say, when I say it!)
- Customize the look and feel to my hearts desire.
- I’d also really like a Mac and Ubuntu gets me halfway there.
- Ubuntu roughly means, “I am because we are.” (sounds like communitas)
- I believe this is the future of OS and software.
There are more reasons, but this is good enough. I’ve made the switch.

The only reasons I ever use Windows are...
Ubuntu (Linux) meets (and exceeds) most of my needs. Here are the only things hanging in the balance for Windows:
- iTunes (though, Amazon’s DRM-free downloads are tasty with Ubuntu)
- … uh…
Okay. Not much here. I’ll work later to compile the list of reasons I’m making the full switch.

» Our Story, His Story
I’ve heard the saying, “finding your hidden self in Christ” before and never really understood its meaning. How can I find myself in Jesus Christ? My story seems so off course with His. My…

This is all about enjoying the anonymous seasons of life. When we look back on these times later on, we may see they were our best seasons (or at least some of the most meaningful ones).
